I have been revisiting some of the different birds I have carved over the years. I love depicting wildlife, trying to show the unique character of different species. It is a different challenge each time, finding the shape and line in the solid stone but keeping that sense of movement and vitality. The images show Blackbirds, a Swallow, a Robin, a Lark and a Goldfinch on a selection of different types of stone.
